It contains mineral UV filters – zinc oxide and titanium dioxide – that form a physical protective barrier against the sun’s rays. The formula also contains salicylic acid, which helps to cleanse pores and reduce imperfections, as well as zinc derivatives, which regulate sebum production and reduce shine. Glycerin and other humectants are added to moisturize, while vitamin E helps to protect the skin from oxidative stress. The tinting effect is provided by iron oxides, which even out the skin tone.
